Shortly after you schedule your appointment, Gigi will reach out to you by phone. During the consultation she will discuss the various poses and props to be used depending on the age of your children and the type of session you have selected. She will offer suggestions on outfits colors and choices. Our What To Wear Guide will give you color palettes and ideas and is included in our Christmas 2026 Client Guide. You will receive a link to the guide in your confirmation email once you book your appointment.
If you are bringing your dog(s), have any concerns or questions about the experience, this is the time to discuss with Gigi. We always try our best to accommodate our clients who may have special needs or requests, within reason.
Gigi will photograph a variety of poses including interactive poses with Santa in our Santa’s Village scene! Depending on how many adults and children, these may vary from client to client. She will take group shots, individuals of children and parents, and of course lots of portraits with Santa Claus! Please review our Christmas Village Gallery to see what we have in store! Images with “magic” (added in post production) are included for no additional charge. If there is a specific pose or grouping you have in mind or really want, be sure to tell Gigi at the start of your portrait session. Time is limited but she will do her best to capture everything.
We recommend bringing a brush or comb, any hair bows and/or styling products you may need such as hairspray or makeup (for touch ups only). Please arrive early if you plan to get dressed in your Christmas clothes at the house. Don’t forget shoes, socks, belts and other outfit accessories, like jewelry. If you are bringing your dog(s) please keep them on a leash at all times.
On the day of your Christmas Portrait Session, a member of our team will schedule your Online Ordering Session with Gigi via Zoom. During the 1 hour ordering session, Gigi will review all of the images (prior to editing and retouching) from your session. She’ll help you choose your favorites, decide what fine art products you’d like and finalize your order! If you are ordering Christmas cards, you will also choose the images, font and greeting at this time.
We offer special pricing for our Limited Edition, Fine Art Santa & Family Christmas sessions. Depending on the products you choose, additional charges may apply for custom editing, shipping and other services. This will be discussed with Gigi during your ordering session. We are so excited to offer select appointments with professional Hair & Makeup this year! Lily of Face By Lily Rose is our favorite makeup artist and she is offering her services at a discounted rate! Please note when booking your portrait session, you will need to arrive 1.5 hour PRIOR to you portrait session time. This Hair & Makeup session will be for one adult only and does not include children’s hair. Lily will reach out to you closer to your portrait session date to review how to prepare for hair & makeup, answer any questions you may have and let you know what time to arrive at the studio.
